I seem to get heartburn the first couple of weeks after my Remicade infusion. It will start within hours of the infusion and will do it off and on for a week or so. I did not have heartburn before Remicade... so it is not any of my meds I take because it only happens after my remicade infusion and I have been on the meds for a while now before starting Remicade.
I had heartburn last night it kept me awake. I did not go to sleep until after hubby went to work around 6:30am. Then it finally subsided enough for me to go to sleep. I did not have anything to take to help with it. I was taking my son's pepto bismol chew tabs but I finished them off last time I had heartburn.
anyone else get heartburn after their remicade infusion?
I don't think so, but then again I haven't ever paid attention to it because I had heartburn before I started taking Remicade. I guess I could pay attention the next time I have my infusion. Then again I started noticing the ringing in my ears, after someone said that MTX caused it.
