Hugs,

Pip

Milly.....I love my dad too and would give anything to have him back to call me everyday. He died in 2002 and I miss him so much. He raised me and my 4 sisters. He had polio and one leg was shorter then the other but he worked as a auto glass installer for 30 years. He was on the football/baseball team in high school and prom king. He was the live of the party and the light of my life. He used to push my buttons too, so I know how you feel. He was a cardinal fan, me a cub fan. We debated and argued and carried on and I miss that. So, I guess just be greatful you can argue with the grumpy ole' man. LOL

take care

Lol, parents.

My mother calls me just to talk about tv shows or a food she hates etc.  She lives accross country and will talk for 45min just on stupid stuff.  I love her and love talking to her, but sometimes I fade away while talking to her :)  She's 66 and her health isn't the best, so i listen to the latest denture cream story or oprah show she watched lol.

I think they just get lonely and want to find anything they can to call us.

I think i will call her this time :)

Oh, i have had a couple times that i couldn't remember if i took my meds or not.  I have a watch that beeps at the right time.  I always remember morning pills cuz i hurt so much then.  But the night time requires the watch beeping.

I have a pill box for each day of the week but don't put in the muscle relaxers, or pain pills because I take them as needed when needed. I have a dry/erase board in my kitchen that I write down the time and meds. when I take them. Also good just for any reminders or wish someone a happy b-day or just to say anything. LOL
