Hi, haven't really read anyone have this sensation in their knuckles but mine are really stinging. just curious to hear if you have experienced this. Jan

Hi Jan, yes, my knuckles were always bothering me, they burn, throb and just plain suck. I have been doing pretty good for the last couple of weeks. I started enbrel and I noticed that is working! **knocks on wood**

take care

Hi Cindee, my hands really bothered me before I got on Mtx, but were doing much better, it's only been recently that they started back. I have been on Mtx 5 months. my Rd does wants me to start Rimecade I'm not sure  I want to go with.I'm glad the Enbrel is working for you. how long have you been on it?

When the RA first hit, it was mainly in the knuckles of my hands and feet - especially the thumb and big toe.  It burned like hell; I could barely walk or hold a coffee cup.

I have been on enbrel for 5 weeks now. I felt the energy boast the first injection. I went Jan. 3 to rd and took all the blood tests. It's all normal. My liver, kidney, sed rat., etc everything is normal!

I have been on many different things, several was allergic too, a few didn't work. I took, like Jasmine, and many others, started with hands and feet problems. It has moved all over.

I used to roll my hands up in heating pads to make them feel better. Try it, or some people do parrifin baths. I also use alot of icy-hot.

I hope you feel better soon.

take care

LOLI get that stinging feeling in my knuckles and down the sides of my wrists as well.Snowowl, I know what you're saying about the expressions my hubby will catch me with a 'look' and say what's up now! he has been supportive to me tho. I am blessed.......Kelstev I haven't experienced the sensation in my wrists but I have a lot of weaknest in them. I will get that in different parts of my body.
