Freaking out here, tell me I’m crazy, ok? | Arthritis Information

I posted a while ago about a foot rash, anybody remember?  Well, it's still here, on both feet and goes up the back of my calves.  It doesn't hurt, non raised, and not itchy at all.  I started looking it up on the internet (silly ol' me) and the only thing I could come up with is something called Petechiae.  Basically, bleeding under the skin.  They DON'T blanch when I press on them which is one of the tell tale signs.  A common cause of it is Autoimmune disorders, such as RA.

I'm pretty nervous and will call my Rheumy in the AM and see if I can get seen tomorrow.  My ankle is not any better and the pain is actually spreading down my foot now.  So I have two reasons to call...

Do you think this is it?  http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003235.htm

I'm not very happy right now...

Karen

Hi, Listen I don't have a clue - I'm so sorry,  but I'm freaking out right now too - you're not alone (hug) Maybe rhumey will have answers for you Karen. I hope you can find out what it is. Take care!Karen, that's a new one for me.  Sorry I can't be of more help.I wouldn't be surprised it was ra, Karen.  RA effects EVERYTHING.  I hope you go to rheumy and he makes you better.  Go to gp if you cannot get in to rheumy.  Let us know.  Roxnever heard of what you are describing before.  Hope you get some answers tomorrow with you dr.  Try and have a restfull evening!I have a friend that gets these bumps on her feet too. They look like a pimple with a white head in the middle. She says hers burn. But she has something varicose vasqulites.  I don't know how it is spelled. I don't even think that is close. But something in her veins. Try that oneKaren, "rash" may be totally unrelated to RA. See your dermo, if you can, while there is something to see and document.

Mike
