More xrays found spots | Arthritis Information

WHen I went in to the ER for the anxiety attack I was coughing and stated the pain on my left side of my chest,so they took several xrays of my chest.

THey called me yesterday because they found some spots and they wanted to retake them.

THe teck took many more xrays in several different angles and placements. The tech let me see how they now do xrays, it was fascinating, the shadows around my neck and in my lungs were also fascinating but scary.

I will know more after they are read.

IT never ends for me. Fortunately for me  the ER Dr. is so calming and kind.

I talk to my daughter each day and she is fine, we miss eachother immensly. I used to sing and talk to her belly and now...well no can do.

jodejjr39458.2206944444It is all probably nothing....but you never know. Not good timing regardless.

Jode, could they be RA nodules? From what I read, they can be present without causing any issues. I hope everything comes out ok and it's not anything life threatening. Please keep us in the loop and let us know what they say.

I always go back to when I was initially dx with RA....you get the info, follow the instructions and take the meds. Period. I cannot change the RA and if there is something wrong here I cannot change it, all I can do is , well do what the Physicians and staff tell me to do.

My nephew has nonhodgkins lymphoma, forgot to mention that to the ER doc...it was a stressful time, just forgot. THat is about the only thing I am concerned about. When and if I ever get insurance again I will have another mamogram done which I was supposed to get a recheck in Nov or Dec.I have to have mamograms every 6 mos.

May just be swelling. may be nodules but the shadows looked rather large....maybe just allergy/ congestion, maybe nothing at all......I will let the Dr.s worry about it. Prob nothing, they probably were just making certain. I am just a bit worried about it but know in my heart that the Dr.s have my best interest in mind. You learn that when you have been sick all of your life. :)

The one thing I did notice was that my neck bones looked worse.( I know this cause I have seen many, many xrays of my bones over the years)

THis is RA folks, a progressive, degenerative disease, so the disease is doing what it does. I am 50, this is not that surprising to me, just poor timing. More stress only if I allow it to be I guess is the way I have to look at it.

A good friend of mine who became blind at age 30 from Retinal Spigmatosis( sp) learned several months ago she has a neuropathy...something, I was too upset to remember. Regardless, the tingling pain and numbness  begins at the extremeties and continues towards the body. There is no cure. She is a brilliant counselor and adaptive computer wiz with full knowledge of the ADA. SHe has traveled the world giving speeches and conferences and consulting. She accomplished all this while blind. Now she has  this with many more health issues. SHe has an attendant, is now on a walker or in a wheelchair. THis is a defective gene causing this. THis can happen to any one. THat is what is frightening. THat anything non curable disease healthwise can happen to any of us without warning.

Jode, about waiting to get your mammogram when you get ins again....Go to your health dept or a planned parenting clinic if they have them in your area.  I know here in IL if you dont have ins you can get your paps done but I dont know about mammograms.  Also here in IL they have a program called Healthy Woman that pays only for well-visits...mamograms, paps that sort of thing...Look around online and see if any of that is avaliable in your area.  Here they put you on Healthy woman if you do not qualify for public aidI am hoping to get on MIHEALTH
