Humm... Wow, Maybe? | Arthritis Information

So... I opened up the EOB today. I opened one early this week, so I am guessing we got 2 this week.

The one I opened today was for almost every thing I had done last month.

First Remicade infusion was ,604.00.... ,300 of that was just for the Remicade. My co-pay if I was to pay it was ... which is the highest tier for RX meds on hubby's insurance plan. Yeah... the RX plan sucks big time and well so does the insurance. Ok.. I digress.

Then... there is the Nuclear Bone Scan I had done. It was 3.03. One question where the heck do they get the 3 cents from? I mean that was the amount submitted by the hospital. Why not just submit an even number? Like 4? or 3? Why even insert the 3 cents on the end? Seems absurd to me.

For the NBS, I would have had to pay 5.97 (deductible). Yeah... that sucks. I am just hoping I do not have to pay that. Not sure if Medicaid is going to pay for it or not. Humm....

Then all those visits to RD I would have had to pay the co-pay of X 4 visits!

Yeah... not really sure why the 20th of December has a radiology charge for... it was the day I got my nuclear bone scan... is that what they were charged for the guy to read the scan? It was 2.00 and co-pay was .00.

Man, that was a very expensive month. And just think there are more EOB for that month coming. And not to mention the other 2 pages I opened the other day.

Wow. RA is expensive.  No cheap diseases for us, huh?  Only the best.

What does EOB stand for?

EOB=Explanation of BenefitsI think I kinda liked my "lazy" RD I had before. I know the insurance and medicaid sure do

Will see what it will be after loading doses.
