Report: California Considers Welfare Drug-Screening Law Proposed by Disabled Teen

Thoughts? Opinions?

I'm all for it, and I just wish they would do this in every state. The only downside I can see to this, is someone who's seriously TRYING to get clean and get help, being turned down because they have trace amounts. Hopefully, if this passes, there will be something in place to help those who really are trying to help themselves. Perhaps a probation period and a referral to a NARCANON group?

I think thats a GREAT idea!!!!  Then maybe people who SHOULD be on it could actually get the assistance that they needI don't know why no one's thought of this before.  Seems like a no brainer, doesn't it?Isn't it sad that things like this always seem to come from tragedy? I mean really, it took a teenager who's life has been so severely altered by it to think of this?!?!?
