I think it's admirable that Cal doesn't want to be involved in any kind of gossip. I mean, how can you fault her for that? Her objection to Gimpy could have been done in private though. I'm not really for an attempt to humiliate her publically. It might be different if Gimpy continually pm'd Cal with things like that and Cal kept asking her not to but she wouldn't comply. But this was just one thing and I know that had Cal asked her privatly not to do that anymore, Gimpy wouldn't.

I was trying to be nice and help you worry less, but I guess that didn't work out.

The only thing I see is that this should have been kept private, just the way it was intended, besides, nothing new in that message.

I see a lot of support rather than the offense that has been taken..

In real life, the poster would be one person to steer clear of as I just would not know where what I might say, ......... would go!

I went and read the thread that started this and I am a year into this and it scared the pajeeber's out of me. I didn't see anything wrong with gimpy's pm, ok maybe she could have left out the levlarry's crazy explanation. But if calgal is new she wouldn't really have know all the history with the uglyness on some of the threads. I have teenagers who say the darndest things and so I do not tend to take statements like he's crazy so literally. If I had seen those pictures a year or so ago after I was first diagnosed I would have freaked out and would have appreciated some comforting.

Nothing new here. One can only imagine what Gimpy says about many here. That said she can offer good info at times but bewareIt was nice to reassure a new person about her hands and all the new meds
available making this problem unlikely.

It is terrible to bad mouth someone else in such away to a new person.

I don't know either person, I am not new to RA and I found the photos very

Calgal is not a newbie to this forum. She/He wanted to stir up trouble.
Gimpy and Lev have both made know to eachother, in public how they feel
so it is no secret to the regulars. Lev is a bit crazy, no doubt in my mind,
along with 6t5 and a couple others. Gimpy, your post was fine. This is a
good lesson to all on the board that pm's are fair game and anything you
pm to another member, can back fire on you at any time so be careful what
you type. Calgal, you need to grow some balls and say who you really are. I
have an idea but am not going to share that. Get a life.

Wow, I cannot believe you posted someone's private message. If you were so appalled by it, I would think the last thing you would do is make it public and possibly hurt the feelings of the person you are so vehemently defending.

Just my thoughts about gimpy having to trash me to a new member. I certainly am not surprised or angry. I have known for a long time that gimpy is a back door person. That her excuse to calgal was that she was "just being nice". Eeeck. So was Adolph Hitler to some people. So were the KKK, to some people. The nastiness of Gimpy's back door tactics is seen by some on this thread to be acceptable and these people are not even ashamed to show the whole www thier shame. If I had done the same thing to one of these shameful people, there would be no end to the condemnations of me by the very same people. But I'm not mad or surprised, yous have been and still are some nasty people. I'm so glad that there are some good people with RA on here because I was beginning to think that only nasties got RA and that would make me a nasty, and I'm not a nasty, it's that simple, got it? Well...how very sad. I have been gone for awhile now taking care of personal affairs and have only checked in periodically to check for PM's, and what do I find? Lorster trying to pull me into some more BS. As a matter of fact, I believe the last time I checked in I had a PM from Lorster saying she was worried about me and was I alright? I mean Lorster out of ALL people. I thought it very strange at the time, but thought she maybe actually sincere. Well...guess I was wrong. I thought it was Blessed at first, because she posts pms and starts new threads off old threads to get attention to how "put upon" she is, and so did "CalGal", but the more I thought about it (admittedly I didn't think about it much) the more it made sense it was LevLarry. He often attacks and judges people personally, but I think it mainly because if you say he sounds like he has a problem with alcohol, he will then accuse you of being a dunk and so on. Note how "CalGal" keeps making mention of me being in an asylum after I said I though LevLarry was a little crazy. dunk=drunk, obviously
