I just might go apply for this secratray job  found online that is in town. I found it on the unemplyment office website. I will see if hubby will take me to the staffing personnel office tomorrow. Need to "overdose" on pred so i can type the requirred 35wmp...lol.

I need a job to help hubby pay the bills.

I have yet to figure out how I will get back and forth to work or even who will tend to andrew...lol....

But not like I have not figured those problems out before...lol...ok the finding someone to tend to andrew is a new one...lol.

My first job I just called the chinese resturant to see if she needed a worker and she said yes. I did not even tell my mom I was going to get a job...lol. My mom had no car, so my problem was I had no way to get to work...lol. But I always found someone heading to town or pizza hut next to the chinese restuarant, which is where my sister was the manager of until she moved to where I now live.

So transportation has always been an issue for me...lol.

Does anyone pay for chat room monitor? Have you filled out your chat room profile yet?

Mikw

Nope no one pays for chatroom monitor.

Nope have not filed in my chatroom profile as of yet. I will get around to it sooner or later.

jooni-  good luck on that job.  you can do it if you set your mind to it.  Hope it all goes well!!

Well, I have decided not go see about it. For to reasons

  1. Have no way to get to and fro work.
  2. Have no one to watch Andrew.

I will go see about it if my sister is off work today. I will let that be my guide to if I should persue in applying for it...lol.

Will keep ya posted!

Joonie, I think you would have great fun being a secretary.  You are the secretary of this Board, Lovie of course is the president.   Mike can be the treasurer since he keeps track of all of our medication - lol.  I think I am just a stockholder

Joonie; Keep in mind Sweetie that child care is very expenses. Make sure you weigh it all out. If you have to end up putting Andrew in a daycare and also the expense of another vehicle you might not come out ahead in the end anyway. Also don't forget you'll need child care for your daughter as well. I know she's in school....but there's lots of "teacher workdays" and other Holidays you'll have to figure out what to do with them both!!

It's sad; but often a mother is better off staying home than working depending on the circumstances.

With all your computer smarts you haven't figured out how to earn an income from home on the computer?

Thanks for the reminder Lovie. I have weighted it all out. I will pay something a week for daycare. Which will be better for andrew kinda, he will  get to play and not be in a play pen because my mommy cannot keep up with him. He will be happier that is when he is at his happiest when he is adventuring!! LOL

My daughter well, she goes to a Christian Acadamy. I know when there days out of school are. Which is only on holidays they do not get normal days like public school. Their schedule is taylered to the local major coporporation in town.  they are out the same days for holidays as Russell Corp. because so many of the children's parents work there. So, we are fine there.

As for the other car hubby will get a used old truck...lol.

Nope Lovie I have yet to figure out how to get paid for my internet and computer knowledge...lol.

wish i could figure it out.

We are really struggling to make ends met. We have yet to figure out how to make hubby's new job pay check to last 2 weeks. He does not make enough right now. He is getting paid less. And then he does not get paid every friday, but every 2 weeks. We are having a hard time and we owe so much money borrowed and debt.

I completely understand. I was exactly where you are now when my children were young; that's what made me think of the child care expense and all. You're right though, it will be good for Andrew to be around other children and in that kind of enviroment. It will also do alot for you to be able to contribute to the household income. It might be a nice change for you too. Just try to get a job like you said; a secretary or something that's not to hard on you. You want to have a job you like and want to go to everyday....not just something to bring in a little money.

Good Luck girl...I'll have my fingers crossed for you.

Hi Jooni,

You know we talked the other day about your skills, you got em girl.  I think you should either pursue something from home or go for the job, it will do you good.  The other stuff will just kind of work out. Good luck!  Jackie

hey if you all have positions, can i be the teacher?? i do teach the science of stuff that people question...

*sniff* i want a title...
