Does anyone other than me have this symptom? I work 12 hour shifts, most of the time I work at least 2 days in a row. My shoulers start to hurt and then it's like all the muscles around my shoulders feel hot, swollen and itchy. It'll last until I get some rest and then slowly goes away. Any idea what it is? Thanks, Wendy

I have had that pain for more than a month.  I can't get it to go away.  Heating pad helps, standing in the shower makes it  hurt less, but we pay for water by the drop Thanks for the replies. I don't tolerate dairy very well at all, if I have dairy products it has to be something lactose free, well that's for milk. I can tolerate cheeses, meaning I don't get diarrhea and bloating with them. I had asthma as a child and gluten and milk products would both set them off. While all the other kids had milk and cookies, I had grape juice and some kinda crackers that look like communion wafers. I don't know if dairy or gluten has anything to do with my arthritis. I do know that when I went on the Atkin's diet several years ago, I had no pain anywhere. I think I may be more sensitive to sugar than I want to admit to being. How do you keep gluten out of your diet, it seems to be everywhere... any hints? :)
