Doing better | Arthritis Information

Well i did have a kidney infection. They hurt. I was sure that was the pain i was feeling. It is hard to tell when you are so used to hurting. Anyway it is amazing what the right antibiotic can do. I am not perfect but so much better. And realy almost good. I had only ever taken macrobid once before and it seems to be helping so quickly. Joints are alot better and fibro is not to bad. Hope this keeps up. I get afraid to get ot excited because i had a few good days a time or two before, but maybe not this good. If the tubes are in at docs i will get my blood work tomorrow if not then Monday. I guess they need certain tubes and have to order them. Anyway a we bit tired as i am cut down to 7.5 mg of pred. I guess the antibiotic makes you tired also. So with such improvement I have a better attitude about things. Life in general. Just being a bit patient at the moment. I was getting scared about getting rid of the infection. Well it seems that maybe possible. Anyway it cleared my digestive system up really quickly. And it was as bad as its ever been. Still a bit of pain in kidney area but not the constant bad throbbing like it was. And strange my teeth do not hurt for the first time in months. So wow that is great. I love improvement. It does wonders for my state of mind.

Please, Milly, tell me you are taking probiotics now on the antibiotics.  You really need them now for when the antibiotics wear off...it could get bad again.

Glad you're ok.

Yes i am taking my probiotic. Anyway do not worry mine is supposed to stay in your system for two weeks after you take them. But yes the answer is yes I am taking it. I am also taking biotin and c and e. And a high b complex and high calcium multi and drinking alot of water.

Good!  You know how I worry!

Pip

Glad to hear you are feeling better, Milly. I like the Macrobid... that is what I usually get when I have a UTI. But last 6 times I had a bladder infection... they gave me Cipro.

Hope you continue to feel better.

Take it easy, take your meds, and relax.  You will be better soon.

I was worried about you! :)
