There is a relatively reasonable discussion of MMS >>HERE<< and Jim Humble discusses the origins of the protocol on his site >>HERE<<

Although I do not remember the herxing being discussed specifically on either site, the nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea that is frequently experienced with treatment with therapeutic doses of chlorine dioxide certainly sound like herx episodes. However, the same nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea can also be symptomatic of chlorine dioxide poisoning.

Like all treatments that make fantastic claims, this one requires more than simply accepting the hyperbole. Please understand that I am not saying the "protocol" is not effective, just use common sense and do a great deal of research before implementing therapy.

As the compound, in toxic doses, impacts renal function, double precautions need to be taken for anyone with urinary tract involvement. Even "standardized" doses in preexisting kidney disease might be toxic.

A few months ago I heard that "a reputable research facility" was getting ready to do a double blind study, but when I questioned my source, no further information was known (so much for reliability, eh?). An admittedly brief WWW search did not lead me to any ongoing study.

Anyone have any anecdotal evidence or personal experience with MMS?

Serendipitously, saw this on YouTube... "raw foootage "from the upcoming video documentary, shot in Bahia de Kino, Mexico".

EDITED to add: Information about the documentary can be seen >>HERE<<
Happ39465.9992361111 I've never heard of this, but it does sound like he's describing a possible herx reaction (or a possible poisoning as Happ suggested).

AP generally uses tetracycline antibiotics, such as minocycline or doxycycline, but sometimes other classes of antibiotics are used. While herx reactions can manifest themselves as vomitting and diarrhea, it is generally a temporary worsening of existing symptoms.
