Hey Shannon....I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering where you've been.  Labs make great pets, my sister had two chocolates, both died over the last few months.  They were very old though.  One thing about them you should know....read up about preventing bloat.  Both my sister's dogs got it.  One survived and lived several years after the surgery, the other had to be put down.  Anyway, I guess it's fairly common in labs more than in many other breeds (still rare though) but something you should know about.

Rose.  I am officially jealous.  Do you SCUBA dive?  If not, thik about giving it a try.  It's a whole other world down there and their's something amazing about breathing underwater.  It's pretty cool.

Link, yea Ive had a rough week emotionally and yesterday a good friend of mine came over so we were hangng out and chit chatting for a while...But im here

We have a 2 week old kitten here.  Plus allllll of the other animals.

I want a new kitty!!! I don't need a new kitty though. LOL The two we have are QUITE enough....

I have a problem. I need dry measuring cups. Doesn't sound like a problem? Well, apparently, no one sells a cheap set around here. I went to Target and they had 5 or 6 sets.................for fifteen friggin dollars a piece! What!??!?!? Who the hell pays that much?? They all do the same damn thing. I don't get it.

So where can I get kitchen stuff for cheap? Any idea? I'm not terribly happy with walmart's selection. Pretty crappy plastic ones, I was kinda wanting metal if I could find it. That or a nice thick plastic. I'm kinda bummed!

Aside from that, still hurtin' today. Now it's migrated into my ankle and shoulder. Plus the hands still. Obviously hasn't slowed my typing, but ya know, it never does. Rarely does an addict let something get in their way.....LOL

Ya know Katie I got a set (plastic) at the dollar store.  Those suckers are still going strong.  I have bought a lot of stuff from the dollar store (kitchen wise) that really has lasted.

My dd got a can opener when she first moved out.  6 years later she is still using the same one.

Want me to get a pic of the new baby and show you?

Hello Katie, I purchased some good ones at Bed Bath & Beyond. I really like the glass or metal ones and they have all different ones to choose from. I find that you pay a bit more sometimes and they last forever. I love to cook, the pans I purchased for less are thrown away and the good ones are still going . Sometimes outlet stores will also get something good in too.

I just cant get over for 'em though. It's just a lump of metal with numbers on it. I mean really. LOL

Our dollar stores SUCK for kitchen stuff. Except tupperware. They have tons of that. But they don't carry any pots or pans, no cookware, and only like....2 plates and some cups. That's it. Boooo....

linncl     no don't scuba dive but we are next to Cobalt resort and they have been out allll day either on dive boat or right off the dock...too old here but am sure it is beautiful, went to Sting Ray City, what an experience

I have a great respect for the ocean and its creatures
