This morning it is five degrees outside here in NE Ohio. Even though my house is being heated to nearly 70 degrees...my joints are so stiff that I have decided not to leave my house all day. Even for church. If I am indoors, why do my joints feel extra stiff? I did venture to the end of my driveway to retrieve the newspaper, so maybe that little "walk" has chilled me to the core and caused all this stiffness.
Am dreaming about warmer days even as the sun shines down on us, a cruel trick if you ask me. Brrrrrrrrrrr.

I am with you on the cold weather and joints just stiffening up. It has been brutal here. I went to bed early last night just to keep snug and warm.
Life was so much easier in so many ways when I lived in a warmer climate. More diffiuclt in other ways.
I am not certain why we hurt so bad in cold weather. Sure wished I did.

I just was just chatting with my DD. She is in OH too. Said parts of cleveland got up to 6 inches and they are under a snow storm warning and freeze warning.
Same here in MI We have wind chill advisories out for the day. Remember in Wisconsin is the Football game today. They say at starting time it will be at least zero degrees out or even lower with a wind chill of -20 or lower. BRRRRR I am glad I'm not at that game. meeSarah, I also have swelling in hot temperatures when the humidity skyrockets. I think it is air pressure that affects our joints more than the other factors.
Stay warm, layer on another blanket, get the hot cocoa ready, and enjoy cocooning today as we are doing here. My dtr's BF is visiting and she & he, my hubby, and my middle dtr are getting ready to watch some football as we prepare some good eats for the game(s).

It is oh so cold here in Packerland!! Right now it is 7 and feels like -7. I have not been anywhere since Wednesday as I started to feel this cold front a couple of days before it got here.
Basically...if I am not at the computer, I am on the couch with a heated throw underneath me and a heated blanket on top of me. All of us got new heated blankets for Christmas this year and thank goodness we did that.

Brrr...Very cold here in MI. I live on the west shore. I am really hurting too. I know air pressure changes bother my joints but I think the cold does too. My son just arrived in France today and the first thing he emailed us was "It's warm here!" I am soooo jealous. I am turning on the heated mattress pad and diving in for the duration.
Yep, cold here in central IL. It's 15 degrees and I have been bundled up all day with blanket, heating pad, sweats, & fuzzy slippers. My hip and feet are not happy campers today or tonight.

Grandma Skittles....so sad when Favre was intercepted by Webster. Ouch....I truly wanted a GB win. Next year, right? (in Cleveland that is our mantra!)
