My hubby dreamt he was diabetic and that's what motivated him to go in and get tested.

Alright. Who the hell wants to explain my re-occuring "Zombie Theme Park" dream then??? LMAO

It's always me and mom and dad, going through a "theme park" where they have zombies chained up for entertainment. And one gets loose.

Yup. I love my dreams.

Fear of a normal middleclass existance?

Oh, wait, that's my fear!

LOL

Pip

They say nightmares can be caused by having hypothyridism. And guess what I have both go figure. LMAO PIP!!!!

I used to have nightmares from hell.  Seriously scary stuff.  I used to try and write novels around them because they were way freakier than any Clive Barker stuff.

Now I can't even watch horror movies.  Go figure.

Pip

chicken! I live off of horror flicks. If I don't get a good one every now and then I go into withdrawals......LOL

Ever seen Silent Hill? that one'll make you pee the bed. I LOVE it!

Well, I can watch the Bruce Campbell stuff cuz it's funny.  But no, not something like Silent Hill.

It's some weird holdover from that near death thing.  I can't deal with anything scary, or violent.  My dreams stopped for years.  When they started back up, they were different.  Normal bad dreams.  Not that Clive Barker on acid stuff.

Now, almost everything I watch is kind of upbeat with a positive message.  Ever watch Ugly Betty?

Snowowl - yeah, I'd say that's pretty symbolic.  Ever have the teeth one?  Creeps me out every time.

The teeth one????? What's that???

I have LOTS AND LOTS of dreams where I'm float-walking. Just inches above the ground. It's sooooo relaxing.
OMG that's one of my all time fav horror scenes..... that and when she crab walks backwards down the stairs! Wheeeee!!! Katie!!!~  I have a reoccuring zombie dream too.  Actually I think it qualifies as a nightmare, it's really horrifying.Oooooooo

Does it involve a log flume ride? Mine does........LOL
Ya know I read once that if your dreaming that your teeth are falling out it's because you're lying about something and feeling guilty.Oh, I also dream a lot about dripping water. I've never found anything about it either. Lakes, pools, oceans, sure. But dripping water? Nope.

And it'll be in the most random of dreams too. It's almost ALWAYS there. So all of my dreams have a dripping water bit in them.
LOL  Nope.  Mine is almost always a variation of this...We're in a town/city/ farm house and their are zombies around trying to get my sister amd me.  Sandy gets bit so we know she's going to turn into one.  So as we're trying to escape I'm always afraid because I won't leave her behind to get eaten but I know taking her means she will soon Be one and try to eat me.You said that once before katie, about the dripping water.  I tried to find out what that meant too and I couldn't find anything either.I know. I don't think anything exists. I think I'm just "special" in dream land. LOL

I have one of those Freud dream interpretation books from college.  It's supposed to be about money.  Like losing money.  Going broke.  Stuff like that.  Altho when I just went to find it on Google, I found the lying thing.

And interestingly, we're having a tooth problem here today.  Somebody refused mom's and dad's request to pull the tooth hanging my a thread - so instead she swallowed it during dinner.  No tooth = no tooth fairy.  We are quite distraught.

Dreams: Be aware of the type of dreams you dream.

Most people interpret dreams as the conscious brain integrating with memories/happenings already experienced (like a computer operates).

A dream which makes you smile, laugh, etc. are dreams which happen when we are more or less at peace with ourselves and our surroundings.

Dreams which stop and cause you to think, to ask questions, perhaps scare you a bit, or perhaps you feel they are a sense of something yet to come, etc. are significant. Take them seriously and reflect on your life.

My own experiences have proven these tenants have always proven accurate.  Take Care
LOL SnowOwl..........so my entire life is like.......on the verge of something big? Hehehe

Now wait a second.....losing spiritual will.........hhhhhmmmmmm.......

I haven't had a dripping dream in a year or so.....

Dreams can definately be prophetic.

Pip

I've had a really odd dream for a couple of weeks... after reading this I've had hubby go over the back of my thighs with a fine tooth comb and thankfully, we cant find a... wait for it...... 'third nipple'

No lumps, bumps or discolouring... any ideas?... Anyone?

Maybe you feel the two nipples you currently have are inadequate and are seriously contemplating adding that third boob??

I've also found that if I eat cheese within 6 hours of zzz-time, I have disturbing dreams that wake me up in a panic. Any body else have this or another foody trigger??

Can anyone else wake themselves up out of a bad dream?  I don't know how many times I've been in a dream and went....wait a second, I can't be punging into a river right now, I don't even drive a van.  This a just a dream.  And then I wake up.  I mean, it isn't always that particular dream, that was only one time but their's been lots of others.
