It went off the air 10 minutes before the finish in Anchorage, somebody put me out of my misery and tell me who won. The freezing rain must have thrown the transmission out.Ohhhh I hate it when that happens!!!!  That is just cruel!  I wasn't home tonight and I am mad that I missed it.  Who won?!  Please tell us!

Okay, MTX Fog - Can't remember their names....the guy that wears the bandana and has the nasty hair with his girlfriend.  Can you believe it?????????

Oh nooo!  I wanted Donald and his grandson to win, or even the Asian Father/daughter but NOT that couple!  Thats the way it always seems to go for me.  The team I root for never win!  Same as with Survivor.  Ggggrrr. The program went off the air just as TK and Rachel got into the cab to go to where Capt. Cook eyes the Sleeping Lady. I had been to all the places where they took them, used to work at a cannery down at the port, fished for hooligan on the 20 Mile, went swimming at Goose Lake as a kid. I was so excited about it ending in Anchorage and so pissed the towers went out. Maybe they'll show it again, no probably not. It's really something to see places you know and boy, did they keep the finish a secret, it must have been filmed last summer, people were fishing on Ship Creek and I never heard anything about it, course I don't read the newspaper anymore. But they never even put it in the local TV guide. I liked all 3 of the teams. I'm just glad the blonde lost last week, she was a brat. Thanks Debra. Hey, I swam in Goose Lake as a kid - do we know each other?  LOL  CathyCathy,
We didn't go there very often, we grew up at Upper Fire Lake, of course Goose Lake was a lot warmer than swimming at home. Did you watch the Amazing Race last night, it was so much fun, until the towers went out. All the contestants went, "Oh I've always wanted to visit Alaska!" Guess it's time to get satellite. This amazing race thing completely slipped past me until I saw it in the online ADN two days ago.  But I rarely watch TV.  Upper Fire Lake?  We might know each other, as occasionally we would go there.  I think (as I was very small) we were at a boat/swim/potluck there in the early 60s, and by the time we drove home (which took forever back then, no pavement), the boat had sunk and I think 3 people we didn't know were drown.  Do you know about this incidence?  It was at Fire Lake, but I don't know which one or where, I was too small to remember that detail.  Very sad, and it really stands out in my memory.  I grew up near Jewel Lake.  :)  C
