Have you seen a rheumatologist yet?  They can try to figure out exactly what you have.

Add in probiotics - that can really help cut the pain.  It's not a cure...but it can really lessen symptoms.

Go back to the doctor or better yet, call in.  There are other things they can do to help.  I wish there was something more immediate I could offer you, I'm sorry.  I hope you get relief soon.

Hi Konstelin.  Can't add to what's been said already, but I wanted to welcome you and say hello

Linda

Hi konstelin,

I strongly suggest that you go back to see your doctor or go to the Emergency department of a hospital to have your severe pain and the diseases/condition taken care of IMMEDIATELY!  I don't know what you have.  But I know a person who has acute diseases such as septic arthritis, reactive arthritis, ..., must be treated by doctors right away.

FYI, cortisone shots can relief  the pain from gout attacks within 5~10 minutes most of the time.  If it did not help, it may imply it's not gout.  Also, rheumatoid arthritis and gout rarely co-exist in a person.

Please do not wait.  Good luck and take care.

Just wanted to stop by and say hi and welcome to the board.  I can't really add anything to what has been said either.  I just really encourage you to get a referral to a rheumatologist asap.
