I got a lovely letter in the mail (looks like patient notes) from her office. I do have RA BUT since she has never actually seen me flaring or with any type of outward symptom combined with the fact that my labworks usually come back normal - I must have something else. Great. Let me collect all the damn autoimmune diseases. Bring it on bitches.
Maybe I should drive the 30mins into downtown and beat on the office doors screaming, "LOOK! LOOK!! HERE'S WHAT YOU WERE LOOKING FOR!!!!!!!"
Or I could just take pictures.
But my first idea sounds much funner (even if it would hurt my hands after).
PS - Is it normal for husbands to go around with their pants pulled over their asses??? Seriously. He is jogging in circles as I type going "neeerrrroooom." At least the baby thinks it's funny.

LMAOI did try to keep a pain journal for awhile, but ratings became impossible to keep objective and I had trouble remembering to do it.
Mel, I'm sorry you have to deal with this gap between what the dr can observe and what you have to experience. I hope it gets better...both the experience, and the gap!
I agree, take pictures, but we have some redness experience with a rash - hard to 'capture'. And it looked pretty close on the camera, but when we put it on the computer, it didn't look nearly as bad as it was. Hubby said he could darken it, but that didn't seem right, even though it would have been accurate.
You could call, and see if they have any cancellations today. All they can say is no! Good luck.
