Chaperonin 10 trial | Arthritis Information

Has anyone heard anything about trials of a protein called chaperonin 10? It used to be called "early pregnancy factor" becasue it's the protein that increases greatly when you fall pregnant. I'm applying for a trial held by a company here in Brisbane which would involve me going to get a shot twice a week for twelve weeks. Apparantly it has had good results in pain relief with no significant side effects.

As long as it doesn't do any harm I'm willing to give it a go. I'm getting no pain relief now, so I'm not losing anything I'm so hoping I get chosen, they only need 24 people, but apparantly I'm
exactly what they're looking for and I've been short listed!

If I get in I'll be getting one of three different dosages, there is no placebo or
control, the trial is past that. I'll have to have it IV (ugh!) but it's a small
sacrifice if it helps. If I don't get in to this trial it looks like it's methotrexate
for me as the next step!
