I HATE the smell of ketchup!

Like if hubby leaves his McD's bag in the car and the ketchup that he used for dipping is in the bag... it makes me want to hurl and gives me a nasty headache.

Oh... or if hubby uses it during dinner and then throws the paper plate in the trash can... I can smell it all the way into my room (it is closet to the kitchen). And I will feel the same way and it will just make me feel sick smelling the ketchup.

I have actually amde hubby take the ketchup plates out to the trash can outside just so I did not have to smell it anymore.

Anyone else have smells that do that to them?

This is gross- but lately I smell myself????

I seem to be letting off some kind of garlickly odor? My outside dog runs away from me with her tail between her legs.

Humm.... I smell EVERYTHING, but the smell of ketchup just makes me sick and if I have to smell it long enough... it makes me irritable and cranky.

Humm... Yeah not sure what the garlicky smell is from, maybe the meds? My arm pits smell like skunk when I go a day without a shower.

Hey, I know some smells can be signs of disease. So wanttobe, that might actually be worth telling your doc about!

I smell everything too and what's weird is before I got RA my sense of smell was nil.

Dr. said maybe the steroids opened up all my nasal passages.

Don't yikes! hehe it'll be okay. Smelling the diseases usually means its really really soon into it. So don't worry. Or try not to anyway. It could be nothing! I can't remember which smells mean what. I think smelling sweet like syrup can be a sign of diabetes...I forget which kind though. And there's some other ones too. Thanks to TV for teaching me those too...LOL Joonie
Have you tried having a candle burning in the room where you're eating.   Many years ago when I smoked cigarettes, I always had a candle burning in the living room because it eliminated the smell from the ciggies and I was told that candles always eliminated smells.
I don't think the candle needs to be scented or anything and I don't know why it worked, but perhaps it's worth a try.

Oh good!

Lutefisk: The Norsks take perfectly good cod and soak it in lye. Go figure.

You either love the stuff or even the smell upsets your tummy. I'm not Norsk, thus I can't handle lutefisk!
Also, if your poo smells bad it's supposed to mean that you're not very healthy.    The more stinky, the more ill you definitely are.  You shouldn't be able to smell poo if you're healthy!/!
