Does anyone suffer from these? is it medication provoked? Currently on Methotrexate and prednisone.

I slather myself with baby powder front & back befoe PJ's but wake up in the middle of the night soaking wet.

Any suggestions?

prednisone can do that. so can anti-depressants.
I hate it---it happens to me also.

I haven't found a way to stop it yet--I don't know if you can.Ialso had night sweats to where I had to get up to change my clothes. A customer who happened to be a nurse told me to take vitamin E . 400 IU a day . It's been about a year since I had a bad night. Hope this helps.  Maimi
I do but I think they're hormone related, in my case.  Do you have them regularly or do you notice any sort of cycle?  Did they start when you started the meds?
I think about 2 weeks into when my prednisone increased to 40MG.

I've been wondering if I'm going thru the change at the same time as this illness began. I'm on the pill so I'm forced to bleed monthly and wouldn't know if I am or not.

worth a try- thanks!

that much pred will do it RA can also put you into menopause early---nice,huh?!An RA symptom is night sweats.  Mine relented when my MTX kicked in.  I never took pred.  You might find they get fewer when your RA gets under control.

Sure is a strange thing to wake up in the middle of the night in a winter- cold room soaked in sweat!

Hmm, RA can cause night sweats?? I did not know that. Thx.I've had a problem with night sweats ever since I was dx'd & I've never figured out what was causing it -- the RA itself, MTX (except that now I am on Avara) or the Prednisone.  Does seem to be a little bit better since I'm off the MTX, but that might just be my imagination.
