How was your weekend? | Arthritis Information

Ok so it was a bank holiday weekend here in the UK, so I haven't checked in for three days.  WOW!  I had to go back five pages to get back to where I left off.  You lot have been busy.

I must admit my wekend wasn't too bad.  I got sent home from work on Friday.  I developed a sore throat and my hands seemed to swell up in sympathy.  I was convinced I was going to be crocked for the rest of the weekend.  But hubby looked after me and we had a great time just chilling and relaxing.

How was everyone else's weekend?

Mine was awful, my hubby's nanna passed away in the late hours of last
night

Chelsea, so sorry about your husbands nanna.Such a sad thing to happen losing someone you love.I hope that you all are able to find some peace in her memory.

Nikihh,How are those hands doing?Has the sore throat gone away.Glad hubby took care of you, what a great hubby you have.We just tried to relax this weekend too, watched some scarey movies. The Ring 2.We also have the japensse versions to watch, they are even scarier. My oldest daughter knows all about scarey movies. Those made in America and in other countries.Subtitles never take away from how scarey some of these movie are.I watch with her but I admit I get scared, hide my face behind a pillow often.I am more of a news junkie and documentary hound.

Anyway, good to hear from you.Take care of that throat and those hands.

This past weekend was a busy one here.  My son is getting married this October and they had their stag and doe this past Saturday.  Since there was a meal offered later that night, I had been baking all week (I was in charge of desserts and a few other things).

It was a fun night, but I'm so sore right now.  I had a few glasses of wine that night and I find that when I drink, the following few days I'm always sore.

So now all that's left is the bridal shower I'm hosting, the rehearsal party which my husband and I will host then of course the wedding.  I think I'll stay away from the wine during the rehearsal party and leave that for the wedding reception.

My husband and I spent a romantic weekend in the mountains. It was wonderful!!

Nikihh~I hope you're feeling better now.

The weekend was good. Had an outdoor birthday party on Saturday and went to the casino on Sunday.  It was good all in all.  Jackie.
