OT daughter’s interpretation of rheum app | Arthritis Information

Thomas's question made me think of this.  After a few ped rheum visits at a med school, my daughter (then about 2 1/2) was playing with a doll and a doctor kit.  She told me that she was "The Doctor" and I was "The Lady Doctor"  (I guess the resident).

She listened with the stethoscope, then stepped back and said to me, very seriously, "Take her socks off, please, and pinch her."

So that is what a ped rheum visit is like for her, I guess!!!  It was very hard for me not to burst out laughing the next few visits, thinking of that!

LOL - too funny.

Altho they never asked me to take off my socks?  Hmmmmm.  Lots of pinching tho.

If you had a purple toe, I'm sure they would.  Hers was even photographed "for teaching purposes" LOL.I love it!!!!  How funny!! I feel I'm missing out.... I dont get pinched. LOLYeah, my fired rheumy pinched my feet and knees through my shoes and pants, amazing technique.  Suzanne, that is hilarious.  Ckids are so hilarious!  mine checked my feet, which geeked me out bc i hate ppl (esp strangers) touching my feet!  my son likens RA to tiny ninjas kung fooing my joints bc they think my joints are the bad guys!
