I've been on Arava for many years now, was doing well, but need anti-inflammatories now. I don't want to take prednisone and the ensaids all make my stomache sick, even the new ones. I used to do well on Enbrel but was afraid of infections. However, I am seriously considering Enbrel usuage again. My former rheumy won't give Enbrel any more because one of his patients died from using it. My new rheumy is more than willing to use it. Any thoughts, encouragement,etc.?
My dermatologist put me on embrel cos I have psorrias ( spell check ) I would try a different dr for the shots.......they burn but it's so worth it , I have also had 5 back surgeries and it has helped my back, I call these shots " The Mirical Shot" 2 shots of 50 mg and my leg's was already looking better and for the ppl that use the shots I found a trick, when the ready stick is unlocked watch the tv and turn it up loud it will distract you from thinking about the burning and wahla it's over in a blink of an eye.
