I have recently added 2.5 g MTX to my dose of salaz/sulphasalazine and
have noticed not many other people try this before giving up on salaz.
It has been working and i have been able to take a low dose of MTX
which I am really happy about. I also take Plaquinal (we call it
nivaquine) every odd day. This has been working for a good few months
now with liver etc fine AND i have the odd glass of wine so am so happy
to keep a low dose of MTX
