Quit eating aspargus and your pee won't stink

Seriously, I haven't heard of that as a s/e.  I don't have that problem, but I don't go around smellin' my pee either.  OK, I've been up for like a long time and I'm brain dead, so I'm just pullin' your leg, k?

As for the peeling on your feet, never heard of that either???

Sorry, I'm of absolutely NO help to you tonight.

Peeling feet can be a side effect of liver dysfunction.  Are you also itchy?

Pip

Not to bad the iching, Now the peeling is starting to hurt between the toes.

Phatgirl it really isn't the way I like to spend my day. But that smell is nasty ! lol

Nut -

You really should call a doc and see if they want to see you.  I had the peeling feet and itchiness going when my LFT's were high.

Better safe than sorry.

Pip

Nut,

Might you have athletes foot? I picked this up the one time I forgot to take my flip-flops to the (public) pool and it took me ages to get rid of it. I take mtx which makes us prone to infections and makes them harder to shift.

Well, this is certainly interesting as the skin around my ankles peeled when my liver enzymes shot up.  And my urine had a very strong smell while on MTX, which has now disappeared since I stopped taking it.  Good question.  Cathy

Tinker. That was my first thought I was cusing at my husband for bring it home from work. Then when off of MTX  due to it  just was not working well .  It then cleared up, Doc had me start back on Mtx and worse this time around. I know its really tender between my toes.

Man I love asparagus but it does cause the pee to stink...WHEW!! There are
many reasons that urine has strange odors. Mostly food and medication.
also, diabetes can cause a strange odor. I would certainly get my blood
work done to see if the liver and kidneys are functioning ok.

Is it possible that you may have psoriasis?  There is a form, called palmoplantar pustulosis, that makes palms of hands and bottom of feel peel, usually after breaking out in a pimple-like rash.

Lorster,  He really needs to check my Liver. Its been a couple of months. He's been so busy fighting with my insurance company. He almust said the  F. word the other day. HA HA!  They don't want me on Rimacaid. He almost said there F--N crazy switched to they don't not what the heck there talking about I about died!!!!!!!!!!! To funny

apeanut,

I have heard that metho can do that to your urine.
I think thats normal for some people--but definitely check with your doc.
As far as the feet--I think that might be unrelated to the metho. It could be something totally different going on there.
GOOD LUCK!
