Lupus | Arthritis Information

This is for my sister in law.

She was just diagnosed with Lupus. She feels terrible all the time and the meds (I don't know which ones) just aren't working for her at all. I think if she found a message board, as active as this, she could get alot of information about the disease, and alot of support from people that are feeling just like her.

Funny, we have alot of the same symptoms. I will be seeing her doctor, because she was very comfortable with him, and she liked him alot.

If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would love to give her the resources to get some insight from other people on the same boat as her.

Thank you!

Take care

Try these, they should be helpful and informative

I found this one just by doing a google search. I'm sure plenty would pop up if she tried that too.

Definately recommend it. I've only been coming to these website the last few years. I felt so isolated for years. It would have been so helpful in the early days especially had a had a group of friends to talk to daily that knew my struggles. No matter how supportive your family and friends are they just can't understand all we feel.....and at times you get tired of trying to get them to and you end up suffering in silence.

Wish I had a sister-in-law like you. She's real lucky.

We are lucky to have eachother. I was married to her brother for 10years. When we got divorced, I divorced him, not his family. They are wonderful to me, and I love them all dearly. I wanted to give her some information to help her understand she is not alone. That there are other people out there just like her. She is kinda shy, and young (22) and I'm not sure she would jump into a message boards without me telling her this is just what she needs. I'm still not sure she'll try it, but who knows. Thanks for all of your help!! Also check your local library they do have books on arthritis and lupus, so if you have a library card you can probably go online for your local  library and click the books you want and they can get them ready for you to pick up they will even notify you when they have the books ready.  Also Barnes and Nobles has a good slection and you can veg out and look themover before deciding on buying book.  meme
