Hi everyone- I am wondering and being new to all this I have a question....i posted this on another site too and no response so maybe there is no connection.
The past week in addition to some ankle and hand swelling my back is really stiff- around the waist line- Before RA I had some lower back issues, but never stiffness- It dissapates in the afternoon but shows up again in the morning. Is this part of the RA?
Have you had any problems with your hips Brenda?
I have a time with my hips from time to time. It hurts right in the hip area, but also seems to cause pain and stiffness in my lower back as well. Even around the front side in the pelvis area?
My doctor tells me it all stems from my hip problems. Whether this is your problem or not I couldn't say.
