Hi, just wondering who has one? If you're on disability and the state pays.  Or if you pay someone to help clean, etc.

Here in Ca.. they are paid a whopping 9 bucks an hr.... and get this, they are Not supposed to be paid, while waiting for us, in the Drs office.. i mean... what the heck??
and they just offered them a 15 cents raise, which is sooo insulting.

I know every state is different. The agency here is awful, truly , its taken my workers up to 4 months or more, ... just to get their First check!!! arghhh
I asked for more hours, and... got cut one hr, i guess i was lucky!!

I get 23 and a half hrs a month.

I've had several different people ..some just providers.. a job..the last 2 , have
been utterly fantastic, they call themselves, CAREGIVERS... and they really really do care!!!
They spend a lot of time, often spending extra time, checking in on their patients and Not getting paid, bc they do care.. and I'm lucky!!!
Very Blessed!!

My last caregiver was 76, and i soo admire her, she works like 80 plus hrs a wk, seriously.. and she took all of her clients out for Thanksgiving and Christmas meals..
A sweetheart...

I have someone different now, but she's also great..(long story about the other one, but I totally respect and admire her).

So stories, questions? :)
