Hi

I've been lurking for awhile and figured it was time to actually join in.  Just reaching my one year anniversary with RA and it has been a learning experience.   RA doesn't go away, so the more knowledge and insight,  the better.   I feel lucky that I was diagnosed quickly and treatment has been somewhat aggressive, so hoping it keeps the monster at bay for awhile.  Currently on mtx, relafen and enbrel  - feel pretty controlled, but always worried about what may come.

Take care
Cathy

Might I suggest a centerpiece made out of all the empty perscription containers.   A couple of sprays of baby's breath and a hot glue gun and you're set.

A-nut, c'mon over!!  The more the merrier!I will bing the Hmmmmm! the vicodenNo Pip.  I'll use your idea of baby's breath and pill bottles and hang them in the doorways, sort of an RA mistletoe.  I'll make my centerpiece out of a sharps container and my clicky pens.  Do you think that a game of "pin the crutch on the cripple" would be in bad taste?Pip can bring the probioticsLove it!  I'm in.

Welcome aboard the good ship RA.
She can be a rough ride sometimes but also some smooth waters can venture into our pathway.
Welcome Cathy Withacee - luckily I go by JSNM in here :)  ~~ welcome aboard Cathy98 I posted last night before I went to bed and logged back on this morning - and wow! It's nice to wake up to so many welcomes.

I'm not very creative, so I'll leave the party favors to everyone else.  I was considering having a bonfire to celebrate and burn the prednisone that I never had to take. Prescribed in the beginning and I held off unless needed - I think it's safe to toss now.

Time to get ready for work - I hope everyone has a pain-free, happy day.

Thanks again for the welcome !
Cathy

Welcome cathy to the mad world of RA. A bonfire sounds good. I could bring my sharps bin and some balloons, we could have great fun popping them, it would be better than listening to our joints popping. WElcomE~Hi Cathy and welcome to AI.  We can be a roudy bunch at times but everyone here is sooo helpful and theres always someone on to answer anything you have questions for or just to be here to listen to you vent.  Glad you found usWelcome to the board Cathy
