OT some of the more obscure reality shows | Arthritis Information
I was very sick over the weekend, and stayed in bed for most of it watching TV shows I've never watched before. Is anybody watching any of these?
"Celebrity Rehab" - it's everybody pretty much from the Surreal Life and Celebrity Fit Club now doing rehab, where they should have been in the first place apparently. Why is Jeff Conaway fulltime in a wheelchair??? Why is Brigitte Neilson the most brilliant and normal-seeming person there? Except Dr. Drew, of course. He is doing an excellent job of making it seem like he really is a dr. who really thinks he is really caring for real patients, as opposed to actually being a relatively cheap TV show during the writer's strike.
"Gone Country" - the ones who couldn't get the rehab gig are trying to be country singers. Bobby Brown, Dee Snyder. Why is Carnie Wilson so big again? Please say preggers. Hate to think the GB failed that quickly. Why does Maureen McCormick, only a little older than I, look exactly like my mother (except heavier)????
"My Fair Brady" - Peter Brady, I used to love you. What kind of mess have you gotten yourself into? I thought you had a nice little computer normal career going....why did you want this drama????

I am,.. blush watching the country show, bc I LOVE country music and is maureen, not absolutely adorable!!! So sweet!!... umm i still look 10-15 yrs younger too, thankfully, lol.
Carrie is big, bc she never learned good eating habits.. it doesn't matter if you do the surgery and still eat large...(you can tell she has huge issues ... ie insecurity etc and really needs to be in Therapy.). She's also probably feeling miserable, I've heard if you continue to eat like you used to , there are lots of physical symptoms.
I never heard of dee synder before and am not particualary fond of him.
FACT: the 22,000 sq ft house they are in, was orginally built for BARBARA MANDRELL
and she only sold it for 2. something million!!! which makes me shake my head.,
She and her family lived there for yrs, then it just got too big for them all. Kids growing up.
and sadly, deep sigh, the developers have gotten their greedy hands on the 135 acre property and are dividing it up into a subdivision.. It was supposed to stay a "Conference
Center"..
What else is on...Survivor is coming soon, LOST YAY yippee is back on and fab!!
Showtime has the wonderful L Word (yes, i'm straight) but love this show!!
The BEST realtiy show... should be on in a month or more.. THE AMAZING RACE...

I love Survivor. It's my favorite show besides 24. And Survivor Man.Survivor starts Thursday Linncn!! I cannot wait.Wait a Lorster. Linn, did you see the episode of" survivor man" when he craweled up ito that dead camel. That was totaly "GROSS"OMG I SAW THAT ONE!!! You know, that's not the only animal he's done that with. *gags*

YES!!! I did see that one. Good idea if you happen to have a dead camel. ANd a really strong stomach!I remember reading a book where a guy did that but it was a deer and he was lost in the wood in winter. Never know when you might need something like that. I do also watch Celebrity Rehab, but I keep forgetting when it is on, so... I usually resort to watching the George Lopez show on TVLand.
Ooooohh... save the best for last! Project Runway! Yep, I think Victorya should have been offed way back about 2 shows ago, but FINALLY they boot her! And poor Chris needs to pick it up a bit, otherwise he is going to get booted for a 2nd time, which I think is in his near future. And Rick he is the underdog... I hope he really starts to step it up on his designs and execution of his work.
I love project runway!! And those orange county housewives....I cant believe those people are so rich. It dosent seem like any of them work their butts off.

That wasn't survivor man, Mo. That was Bear Gryllis. His show is called Man vs Wild, another one of my faves. I was going to say it last night but couldn't remember the name.I think I am becoming a reality junkie!!!!! Although I do like to watch Discovey , Tru Tv. CSI Law and order........ I think there's a pattern here ....lol .Tru TV has become one of my favorites. And that Jail series. Oh and don't forget the all female bounty hunters. My husband and 15yo son love those girls. It may be called Miami Bounty Hunters.Oh yea Link that's him...I still can't stomach either one.
I never could watch fear factor either...no stomach for eating worms and tarantulas crawling all over me. *shudders!*

I would love to see a show where they pick a lively message board and film people at home/work reading/posting. Then, only when the series aired, would they find out who everybody really is. They would all meet, Oprah-style. Or maybe Springer-style.....
Joonie - Project Runway - Ralph Lauren Polo uptight fragile chick is gone next, don't you think? Why did she leave Polo? She seems like a perfect fit for that line.

Must be Julia. I love Sweet P! We would hang. What about Rami? I mean... dude is a little too full of himself, but not as much as Christian Is he the lingerie dude? I like him. But he probably would not hang with me LOL. He THINKS he's too cool LOL. I like Christian, too. We would hang. He wouldn't care what anybody thought.
No Rami is the bald guy from Israle. He does some nice stuff, but he is stuck with the one thing he knows how to do which is draping.
Ricky is the lingerie dude. But I do not really see him as one of the final 3, because he had a slow start showing off his talents.
I am thinking the top 3 will be Rami, Christian, and it is a toss up for the 3rd spot. I mean... maybe one of them can pull it outta their bootay and not get the big heeve-hoe! LOL!!
I knew it was coming, Ricky got the boot on Project Runway. I just know next will either be Chris or Sweet P. I think Julia will be in the top 3 now. Or she might crack under the pressure, like she seems to be as of lately and mess up big time. But... then they could always give Rami the boot too, because he is not showing diversity in his designs... always draping the fabric somehow.
Fell asleep before the end, so I didn't see it. I'll have to watch it this weekend.
Chris should be next - he only got lucky and got back in after that guy had to drop out.
