Ok we have a ton of snow. They have extended our winter storm warning til 9pm. They said the snow will ease up around midnite...they didn't say it would stop...just ease up!!! URG!! Well, as of an hour or so ago the snow was above Danielle's knees and she is about 5"1'. So you can imagine how much we actually have and it is stil coming down pretty heavy. Thought I would post some pics of the snow! Enjoy!
This is the road at Grant Park where we spend a whole lot of time in the summer since the beach is there lol. Danny and Danielle went sledding there today. Me and Arielle were at home as Arielle is sick with a probable ear infection and possible strep throat.

WOW ! Nice pictures ! We have tons of snow here too . I'm not sure how much yet but it looks to be about 14 inches.
My husband and I live in a condo so we have "people" who do the plowing for us . I was just watching them clean up the driveway and being just amazed at all the snow.
Our dog , Elizabeth , loves it whenever it snows . If it gets any deeper I will have to put a flag on her tail just so we can find her .

take care all, Laurawow that's alot of snow!!! I live in Va and we have been wishing for some snow!!! I saw the pics on Danielles myspace and commented there..they are really nice. I like that bridge. We had a wind storm come through last night. I was at work when it blew through. It was in the 70's when I got to work at 645pm and when I left at 4am it was in the low 40's. When I got home the damn basketball goal had blown down and scratched the hood of the truck and my little ceramic troll blew off of his little shelf and his head broke off! We go from AC to heat and back again every 3 or 4 days here. No wonder we have all been sick!PS...I like your bricks...I love the pics how much did you end up with ? Right now I am waiting for our snowstorm to finish we already had 16 inches and the snow has blown up against the house to the point it is over waist high i don't know how hubby is going to get into the house in the morning. hehehehe Everything has been closed down for tomorrow. Central dspatch has been on tv asking people to stay off the road they are rescuing people here who have been stuck on the road and putting themi n shelters because there is no way they are getting home tonight. We got another storm coming in Friday!!! memeewwwww I hate snow and feel sorry when storms get so bad for people.
I am originally from seattle and hated the snow, it was so cold that it hurt as a kid and my parents kept making me go play outside :(
We did get snow on christmas day a couple years ago down here which is extremely rare. Right now we have the air conditioner on lol.
But, it snowed and my then 12yr old went outside, she only lasted about 5 to 10 min before she said it's too cold and the snow was like ice so she went inside lol.
I hope everything will be ok and your power will work.
