That's quick!  Glad you got in sooner...good luck!

That's great!  I got a letter saying make an appointment with my rheumatologist and got 4th October!  That's the way they do it here, I had to wait eight weeks to get the letter to make an appointment and then anothe five weeks on the actual list.  But the government will say the waiting time is five weeks!  Ha! Nikihh,  How would Julie go about changing rheumatologists in the UK?Hey Roxy

As you know I'm in the UK too. I have pm'd julie today and tried to help her out, poor thing she's beside herself . I've told her she can contact me whenever she likes.

I have been very lucky with my rheumy, he's great, but I really don't know how she could go about getting another unless she pays and goes private, and then it's very much the "luck of the draw" I mean by that you get good RDs on the National Health Service, which everyone here is entitled to free, but just because you pay to go private, doesn't always mean you'll get a better RD that way.

Sorry to talk about you as though you weren't here Julie

Hope she can sort something out soonBookworm38595.4624305556

I sounds as if she did go see another doctor and he said it would not be approprate to treat her? I'm confused by what he means by that. The new RD confirmed it was RA...while the other one denies it.

Julie we can understand how you'd be confused Sweetie.

That is great kelsaysmommy! I always had to wait weeks...lol.i usually do to but i guess they had a cancelation so i took it and ran!
