We just got back from seeing Spamalot down in the city.   It was a great evening!  It was VERY funny and was a much needed bit of entertainment.

We drove down to the city and got there about an hour before the show.  We walked through Chinatown and Mark commented how grubby it was and how many cigarette butts were on the ground.  I looked down and they were all red....not cigarette butts......fire crackers from Chinese New Year!!!!  I couldn't stop giggling.

We had dinner at a Japanese hot stone restaurant.  They brought out these hot rock squares with a huge peice of porterhouse on it searing away, a couple of prawns, some tofu, a mushroom and a couple of slices of zucchini.  Then a little tray with 5 different sauces to dip your food into.    It cooks right there while you are eating it.  The steak was SOOOO tender.

Then we went into the theatre and saw the show.  It really was fantastic,  VERY Python-ish and funny.  We thoroughly enjoyed it.

I've been wondering why my left thumb is so sore today.  Very achy and a bit swollen.  I'm thinking all kinds of nasty things like flaring.   Then I remembered that I made homemade lemonade yesterday and juiced about 18 lemons.  That must have been what it was.   I do love making lemonade  so it is a good thng I have a HUGE lemon tree in my back yard.  I must remember to use the electric juicer next time.Spamalot came around here quite a while ago and I never did get to see it.  Wanted to though.
I haven't heard of a hot stone restaurant.....it sounds really really good!
Your own lemon tree?  I would love that.  Are the blossoms pretty?  Is it very fragrant?
Glad you got to have such a fun night out, Pammy.

My daughter and I went to see The Eye last night.  It was pretty good.  I jumped out of my seat acouple of timesHi Pammy,
Glad you enjoyed the show.
We saw it last year and were let down alittle. But hey that happens and at least we got out of the house for a while and saw some family.
