Feedback for new Arthritis Magazine | Arthritis Information

Hi all!

I'm working on a new magazine focused on living with arthritis that is dedicated to addressing and reflecting the voices of millions of Americans living with arthritis or rheumatic conditions. Through sincere and engaging stories, it encourages proactive emotional and physical action to enrich the life of every reader. Four initiatives define and guide our mission:

Educate: Inform our readers of the latest medical advances in arthritis research.

Inspire: Share stories of hope and vitality of real people who overcome adversity and break barriers.

Empower: Give our readers the necessary tools and resources to take control of their lives.

Unite: Provide our readers with a community where they might find strength in each other.

We really want to make this magazine a sincere and active community of voices where those who have first-hand experience living with arthritis have a strong say in what kind of content is inside. Any information you could give me would be extremely helpful. Our request is not some sort of shady plug to get you to subscribe--it is a sincere request for information and guidance. After all, who knows better about living with arthritis than the over 46 million men and women doing it every day?

Some questions we have:

Is this the type of magazine you would be interested in?
Would your friends read this?
Would you subscribe?
What kind of magazines do you subscribe to now?
What kind of stories would you like to see?
What would you expect it to look like?
What would make you want to subscribe to a magazine rather than going online?

If you feel more comfortable e-mailing me your responses, my e-mail address is rac24d@mizzou.edu. Thank you in advance for your feedback!

All the best,
Robyn What is the connection to the University of Missouri?I am a student in the school of Journalism. The magazine is my capstone project.
