Rummy pronounced me clean and clear of any signs of PMR. I have been off of pred since 1/5. It was this big weight off to be told I am clean. Speaking of wieght 20 pounds off and 25 to go. I thank you for this forum. It was there when I really needed someone to talk with. 14 months for me and I can only hope that it does not return. Rummy will monitor the blood work and told me to stay stress free--Sure that is not going to happen, but I am going try.

That's fantastic news Lonna! I guess that is one GOOD thing about PMR, as opposed to other diseases, if that there is a good chance it will GO AWAY! You take good care of yourself to avoid a relapse, and all the best for the future.
Hi Lonna, great news. I am so happy for you. Congratulations on your weight loss. I know you must feel so good. GeriHi Lonna!
So glad to read that you are through and in such a "short" time. I am down to 1.25 mg and started in June 2005 so I have had it twice as long. Well, I also see the light at the end of the tunnel, and everybody who is having pain and think isnĀ“t it soon time for me to get off probably finds a relief to hear about "success" stories.
