Remicade Funding | Arthritis Information

My RD wants to put me on Remicade as soon as possible.  I have applied at several places for funding because the expense is outrageous, even with insurance.  Haven't heard back yet from any of the foundations.  How easy is it to get funding?  I realize it is an individual thing according to each situation.  Just curious.  I told him I coud be driving a very nice car for the money this is going to cost and he said, yes, but I wouldn't be able to drive it.  I won't share my opinion of the pharmaceutical industry.

It's probably my opinion.  ;-)

I don't know much about the funding but I know some of the people here do so...bump!

P.S.  Hi and Welcome!
Please share....sometimes I feel some of us are voices in the wilderness.Max, I don't want to scare you ,but My Insurance company won't approve it. It's funny you would think with  having three Insurances there would be know problem.  The upside when I was trying to get Remicade they called and told me that they do have funding through them that will help. I hope you get further than I did. I am still working on it good luck.

Hi Peanut,

Here is the number for the Remicade Assistance Program. 1-866-489-5957.  If you call them they will send you an application to fill out and there are two pages that your doctor has to sign.  Hope this helps.

Hey there Anniemax,
So that number here is to get help with Remicade Assistance.  And anyone that is on Remicade can apply for it huh?

Hi Kim,

Yes, if you are on Remicade or going on Remicade.  You can call them and ask for an application and they will want your financial information and your doc will have to sign some papers and give them some information.  Worth a try.
