I think Rheumy keeps replying just to see how many pages the topic will go to.just for the sake of fairness it isn't only Rheumy who is keeping that thread going. For everyone of her/his/its posts there are 3 or 4 others responding.
There are way too many people who respond like Pavlov's dog and just can't help themselves by responding and responding and responding to each and every provacative post. Stop responding and the baiter no longer has any fun in posting.
As annoying as he is Dr Phil is right when he says that in every adverse relationship there has to be someone who chooses to be a hero and change their behavoir. You can't control Rheumy but you can control your own responses
Yeah, but Rheumy's the only one who comes on and repeatedly says the
thread will end only when everyone stops responding. Since he/she is
responding herself at that time, it's stands to reason she means only
when she gets the last word.
Also, if you divide it into "Rheumy" and "everyone else" of course the
"everyone else" number will be more than "Rheumy". That's elementary.
So if Rheumy is posting 4 posts to EVERYONE elses 6 would have to
argue Rheumy is a major instigator of discord on that thread.

Ok... there was a couple of times where the post was at the bottom of the second page and that certain someone bumped it back to the top. I know because I had thought about bumped it back to the first page, but refrained from doing so. It was sooo.... hard too. I mean... there was a few words that just made me want to hijack the thread again, it was killing me not to reply. And then when it finally got bumped again... I forgot what I was going to say. yes..someone needs to get cable.
You just don't get it. That thread continuing is the responsiblity of multiple people not just Rheumy. On those 3 pages of 30 posts Rheumy is responsible for only 5. Katie had 9. Rheumy claims they will stop posting if people stop responding...yet people keep responding. Put Rheumy to the test see if they'll stop...take away their fun One person is not the sole responsible party for that thread. Its the same thing with LevLarry...he keeps posting provative posts because certain people can't help but respond. Then he sits back and laughs. You've said it yourself..don't feed the trolls. But people on this board keep feeding. So responsibilty for issues also lie with them. You take away the power from the baiters when the baitees don't respond

Well... maybe it is a good thing. I mean some people do not get happiness like everyone else. So... some of us are accommodating the ones who's day is not a little "brighter" because of some of our silliness, but by response in a negative way to their posts.
I mean... there is always "good" & "bad", "pretty" & "ugly", "pros" & "cons", "evil" & "saint", and the list goes on. But one thing they all have in common is... one can't exist without the other.
