I need to complain just a little | Arthritis Information

My right hand and both feet are frozen. I mean really really cold, and they will not stop being so darn cold, unless I am in bed with the heating pad.

The coldness is now radiating up. For my hands it is cold all the way up to the middle of my forearm and for my feet they are cold all the way up almost to the middle of my calves.

Could this be caused by Remicade or Imuran?

I had this before Remicade or Imuran, but not to this extent. I mean not to the point to where it seems day in and day out; and to the point of it radiating up.
Is it possible that you may have Raynauds?  Joonie... have you tried some mild exercise?  You don't have to work up a big sweat... just rev up the furnace and get the blood flowing.  It happens to me sometimes if I'm not real active for a while.

You might want to mention it to your doctor if it persists, too. Hey Joonie, My feet, ankle's, side's of my leg's and also my hand's, felt like that last weekend.  The weird thing is that it felt like needle's or something was peircing the bottom of my feet. Believe me I have never velt anything like this before. I thought it was strange that it hurt down the side's of my calve's.  I hope the remicade will kick in and do it's job. I swear I am going to get me one of those things that hunter's use when there outside to keep my hands warm. Get well Joonie Hug's ........nutThanks for the replies!

I just know it is annoying me. I have an RD appt the 25th of this month, I will tell her about it.

a-nut - I hope the Remicade kicks in for you too.

Joonie, My insurance company declined my RD's request to put me on Remicade. I feel as though they are trying to drop me .  The other day my husband went to my MTX from the Pharmacy. It was 29.00 dollars and they said it was to much and wouldn't pay for it.  The next day at work my husband got an e-mail that said the Insurance company will not pay for any injectable that aren't mail order. It just seemed awful coincidental. a-nut, do you know why your injectables have to mail order?  That's just weird.  What's the difference?  So I guess your meds will be delivered from here on, huh?

I had to switch to mail order to the health insurance's pharmacy for Humira last year, after I had already been getting Humira mail ordered from Wal-Mart Pharmacy for about 6 months. They sent us a letter stating that I had to switch to their pharmacy or the co-pay would be double. And well... co-pay at the time was ; which if I stayed with Wal-Mart it would have been 0 co-pay. Now the co-pay tiers have been changed to .

Oh & the "cost" for Humira from wal-mart pharmacy was cheaper than from their own pharmacy. *shrugs shoulders*
My husband's work got new health insurance. And what Joonie said is about what's going on.  We have to go through I believe it's called pharm-care.
