It has been such a long time since I last posted. I am surprised I remembered my password. The RA has been taking a toll on me these past few years to the point that I am just exhausted with the pain , fatigued and despair of it all but Iam still going.

My hands have been having good days and bad days, my eyes haev gotten worse through the years but I was told that is normal for my age. I still take my calcium for the osteo and erosions.....can;t say that my life has improved or it is a better life.....so I just roll with whatever comes my way.

I have been through an argument and will have to move but cannot afford it right now. The stress is really bad. My goal is to get back to feeling better and to be able to afford my Enbrel and my MTX again.Would also be nice to buy my stuff for the osteo and bone deterioration.

Other than that I have seen many new names here while I have updated myself on some of the postings.....where did every one go?????????

I have seen on here that many are on the biolics.....nice to know that they are helping so many people. I Wonder if they are good for the long term......hoping so anyway.

You say you haven't posted in a long time and were suprised you remembered your password, but it clearly indicates this is your first post.  I'm confused.  Want to clarify?Hi Pelianion , Sorry that you are feeling bad . As I was reading your post And your concern about getting your medications I had to let you know that there are ways to get your meds at a discount price or even for free . For your enbrel you can talk to your RD or call the 800 #for Enbrel yourself they are there to help you .For other meds maybe your doc can help with that or check on line at free drugs.com . It does not cost a dime the card never expires and you can save up to 75% .
I am self employed and the drug card sure has helped me save$$$. There are actually 3 cards so print out all of them and your drug store will see wich one is the best price .
Some times I use all three , each one is different .
And when my hands are hurting I squeeze a stress ball until the pain has lessened or is gone .
Hope this has helped you . It's the pits when the pain is so intence .
Oh thankyou for the info.

To clarify my post,I guess it is because I have not been online. I had signed up but never wrote anything, kind of shy. Guess I meant this is my first time posting  but I have read other posts some time ago. If you do not want me to post that is ok too.

I wasn't suggesting that you shouldn't post.  It just seemed something was odd.  Guess I've been a little skeptical because of another person posting under a "new" name and trying to cause trouble.

I say "ditto" to Maimi's post.  I started on Enbrel last December and so far, I haven't had to pay anything for it.

Hope you get some help soon.

Pel, am happy you started to post.  Maimi has given you good advice.  There are many ways to obtain the drugs free or at very little cost.  Damage is still occurring and it would be great if you could get back on the drugs.  Have you seen an RD recently?  Take care and continue posting and keep us posted on how you're doing.  Lindy
