Maximum Dose for Imuran | Arthritis Information

Dosage of this medication depends on the disease being treated. The initial dose for rheumatoid arthritis is approximately 1 milligram/kilogram (mg/kg) of body weight, or approximately 50 to 100 mg given as a single dose or twice daily. This can be increased every 1 to 2 months, up to a maximum dose of 2.5mg/kg of body weight, or approximately 75 to 150 mg given twice a day.

So according to the above... maximum is 300mg? Or am I reading that wrong?

I tend to read things wrong. Like I got confused with "take 2 tablets by mouth daily." & "Take twice daily." To me seemed the same but then hubby explained it to me.
