methotrexate and nodules | Arthritis Information

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and would like to ask those of you who are on methotrexate and had nodules before taking the medication, what happened to your nodules, have they gone away, or have your existing ones just stopped growing, and has is prevented new ones from forming.

Hi Lilybell, Welcome here . I had nodules on my elbows a while back but I was not on mtx .

I always thought it was just something you got with Ra .

I would always massage them hoping they would go away , maybe the massaging helped

I really don't know but they did go away . I still massage my elbows but have not had any

nodules for about a year now.

I'm really glad because I love wearing tanks in the summer .
