What is your favorite way to pass the time away?

Mine would be play video games. And if sleep were considered a hobby you can say that was my #1 hobby Hmmm sleep could be a favorite hobby if I could.
It sure isn't remodeling.

Hey Karen! I don't know why geneology is your favorite hobby...mine and your family tree goes straight up! I weave and loom and when my right thumb hasn't been swollen I also do needlework.  I like working with flowers and plants and have quite a garden during the seasons.  Trying to keep up with it is trying at times.  This year will be more interestiong because the pa has gotten further in the spine and neck, so i don't know yet how much of the garden work I will be able to do. I love cooking and creating new recipes and of course eating what I make! heheheheI love scrapbooking.  I've done heritage scrapbooks for my brothers and sister and this past Christmas, I made heritage scrapbooks for my husbands brothers.  Right now I'm working on Bailey's scrapbook.  I also have scrapbooks of my 2 children...starting from babies up to the present.  Plus a ton of random type pages I've done...I find scrapbooking to be very relaxing.Reading, playing with hi-tech crap, upgrading my computers, cooking My favorite hobby is making candlesI love to garden, but my spring plans are looking pretty glum because of the drought.  I don't want to waste money planting things I can't water and the drought is supposed to continue so we won't have enough rain to keep things pretty.  Somehow, the weeds are managing to prosper, though, so I guess that will keep me busy.   Read, play pogo,  reading and participating in several online message boards...( HGTV, Scrapbook.com, IMDB, CHF patients, relationship forums)... home decor, scrapbooking, stained glass,  I love antiques and can while away hours in an antique mall.  Cookng.

My passion is redesigning and rebuilding vintage jewelry pieces, stringing and beading.  I paint and do altered art work and collage.  Also, love a good mystery, biography, political book.  I'm weird also because I read cookbooks like other people read novels.  I also collect them.  Love to cook and haunt flea markets for tiny things to add to my art or for vintage jewelry.  Good topic Ms. Joonie,

Gardening, Cooking, Travel, Golf, Fishing, Photography,IA site & Halloween!
My fav hobby is making reborn dolls or those little clay mini babies.I have tons of hobbies.  I do decorative painting and do art and craft shows to sell my stuff.  I love gardening, cardmaking, home decor, traveling, etc., etc.   Just not enough hours in the day!shykymom...I'd love to see some of your work!

Reading, definitely reading.  I LOVE sci-fi/fantasy novels!  They keep my mind busy and takes me to a whole other world when I need a "vacation" lol.  Oh, and watching movies and some TV.  And sometimes, in warmer weather, I still go sailing, though I'm more a passenger these days than a captain . Walking the beach, reading, being with friends and family, taking pictures and when I need to totally chill, I play canasta on pogo. I'm addicted to canasta...............Kelstev

I might try and find some pics and maybe I will start a thread.  Most the dolls well actually all I have either sold or given as gifts.  But I still should have some pics in my photobucket.  I will get around to starting a thread and show you some.

I haven't done anything in a few months and boy do I sure miss it.
I play percussion with a local orchestra- my biggest fear when I was diagnosed was that I would have to give it up but thankfully I've responded well to the medication and am still banging away!

I also enjoy riding my bike, reading, and movies, movies, movies.  Sometimes I get into arts and crafts projects too... I painted an entire Christmas village a few years ago.  :)
I love to sew, crochet, read, play pool, and hang out with my hubby and kids. I haven't crocheted or sewed in about a year, because of my hands. I don't know how you gals can do it. I guess when I get under control I'll be able to do those things much easier.
I play pool in a league. I usually have no problem (except occasionally the knees) when I play. Well after my match last night, my wrist and thumb got all red and swollen. The rest of the fingers to follow shortly after. Weird. It's really no stress on my hands to play. And, that is the first time I have ever really noticed that something I did would cause such obvious swelling.
I love gardening, but had to scale way back because of my neck/back pain. Here our growing season is so short because of the cold weather, so it suits me fine. My other hobbies include card making, reading, scrapbooking, and goofing on-line.
