OT - What is your weather temp.? | Arthritis Information

 

Just came in from outside because my birdfeeders were Empty.  So it is with a definite quiver in my voice the result of being cold that I say, "HELLO."

At the moment of this post the real temp. is -14 degrees and the wind chill factor is -25 degrees.  Oh this isn't the worst of what we will be experiencing yet this day/night. Tonight the real temp. will be dropping to -25 degrees and the wind chill factor will be from -45 to -50 degrees. It isn't going to matter how warm and toasty your home is the heating systems won't be shutting off much in this part of the North Country.

Though it's soooooooo cold here prayers are for the people having their lives ripped apart by the tornadoes.   Gentle Hugs to all.

SHEESH!!! It's like.........65 here. *grin* We have a spare bedroom!!! You need to move!

Woooo Hooooo!!! We are having a heat wave by comparison. 12 degrees at 5:30 pm. Lowest daytime so far I think was 2 degrees a couple weeks ago. Wind chill then was -25. I feel like aI live in Alaska. This winter is just relentless. Wow 65deg here and up to 73 by friday :)It was -3F this morning and we had a high of about 13F.  It was 65F in my office - good thing I wore long underwear!!!OMG KELLY!! I can only hope I'll be that crazy and die-hard about something at that age!! LOL I woke this morning to -10 . It's a bit warmer now -5 . The pooper is that we have been getting sooooo much snow this year . So far we are at record snowfall 85 inches . And we will be getting more snow on Thursday . it was absolutely beautiful here and in the high 50s.  sun was out with a slight cool breeze.  wood burning stove going.  heat off.   thank God for my beautiful day!I almost hate to write this but I will........it was 80 degrees and bright sunshine in southern Arizona.  I hope to never live in the cold weather ever again.  LindyWe always have a cop at Bingo... and for good reason.  These girls are fiercely territorial!!! Some have been sitting in the same seat for 30 years... god help the newbie who shows up for the first time and sits in an old-timer's chair!!!  The cop has actually had to separate women on many occasions.  They fight about chairs, hurl racial epithets, call each other fat/ugly/whatever... what a hoot!!!!
We live close to the west boundary of Minnesota. 
Hey - WonderWoman: Many, many, many, many years ago when CB Radioes were the thing my handle was "WonderWoman."  You're Cool!! It's 23 degrees here in central IL. We had a little snow. About one inch. I'm so ready for Spring. It's been a wild winter!thank you watchingwolf!   my husband nicknamed me this as he has seen me struggle day and night with severe RA.   he even bought me the doll.   he admires the fact that i keep on going.   i wish i looked like wonderwoman myself.  teehee   i am sure he would like that  even more!   thanks for being so kind, susanWell, WonderWoman here's another one for you. Our younger daughter's name is also, Susan! susan is a beautiful name and i have always loved it.   momma debated between susan or suzanne but i became mary susan always called susan my brothers only were allowed to call me susie.   great name you picked for your daughter.  i wish i had used it I named my daughter elizabeth carroll, in hindsight susan elizabeth would have been perfect and called her elizabeth oh well she is 23 now she is elizabeth that is lovely too.WonderWoman: Here's another one for you. My mom's name is Elizabeth (goes by Beth) and they share the same middle name of Louise.
