This is the little Goth Fairy I made her (she dressed like a goth fairy for halloween)

This is baby Grim LOL

This isn't clay but this is her Bday cake and NO laughing.  Well at least do it behind my back.

Here is one of the last reborn babies I made

This is one my made for my oldes DD for christmas (I gave his lots of hair because my grandson has loads of hair, well did at birth)

Here is my 14 yr olds reborn.  Though I think we may try and dye the hair.

Here is another clay baby I made.  She is about 5 inches long.

Here is one I "tried" to make to look like my neice.

Here is one I made for a lady

I have more pics of a few others I have done but I think I have bored you enough.  I sure hope the pics are not too big and I post them right.  Thanks for looking.
Wow.  Some of those look real.  Seriously.  Good jobVery impressed by your work!!  I can't get over how good they look!  My husband just started fooling around with umm...Fimo??  I think that's what it is.
Very nice work shykymom!!  Thanks for letting us take a look at your work.I have tired different clays.  I can't think of the one that I order but I like it.  That's why I haven't done much in awhile can't really afford it.

I did buy a small block of premo at Michaels when we were in mich.  There isn't one around here anywhere.  It works but to be it gets too soft too easy and you can make more mistakes holding it.  Especially if your hands are warm.  (mine usually are not so that is a plus for me).

I wish I had taken a class or something so my mini babies would look more real.

But thanks for the nice words.  You just made my day.
WEll the babies look real enough to me...I'll be showing these pics to my husband when he gets home.Wow.  I'm mean really....wow.   You did that with no training?  No classes at all?  Amazing.   You must have talent seeping out of your pores.

Those babies are really wonderful. You are super talented.

Kel- fimo is fun, I used to make dolls house food out of it  and small ornaments for daughters dolls house. It does dry quickly though.

Hey that's a good idea too, Lisa...I'll have to have my husband do up something like that for when Bailey's older and has a play kitchenOh Pin my dd and I made doll house food too.   We made her a huge doll house so we made all kinds of food for it.  That was a blast because we all worked on it together.  Too bad when we moved between the neighbor kids and that kitten they messed up the doll house.  Now we will need to work on the inside again.  They did things like tear down the ceiling fan and such.  Just rough kids.  :(

We made pizza's and even oreo cookies.  LOL  My one dd made potatos and all kids of veggies.  It really is fun to play with clay.

Jesse thank you.  And nope no classes.  My friend said one day let's try this so we did.
Do you sell those reborn babies?   I saw a story on Inside Edition about a woman who makes them and sells them for $$$$$$$$$.  I think yours matched the baby pictures better than the examples they showed in the story!  She used goat hair, I think?
Do you sell those reborn babies?   I saw a story on Inside Edition about a woman who makes them and sells them for $$$$$$$$$.  I think yours matched the baby pictures better than the examples they showed in the story!  She used goat hair, I think?
I know I'd pay for one!
amazing my youngest daughter is the same way with painting just picked up a brush and some paint and started on canvas.  I am going to show her these pics.  you did this out of clay that is amazing.I have sold them when I lived in Ohio.  But since moving to KY I haven't sold a one.  :(
And they go for pretty good money.  The reborn's.  Between 0 and 0.  Some do not realize though the amount of money that goes into buying the doll parts.  The buying the eyes and the paint and the lashes.  I use mo hair and have to order that also on line.  And it isn't like you can hand root the hair in a day.  (well I suppose you could if you had real good hands).

Dolls houses are fun. I made a victorian hobby horse for the nursery out of a chess piece( the horses head) a cocktail stick for the pole and two small buttons for the wheels, stuck it altogether and spray painted it white, marked in the facial features, it came out so good that I sold tons of them on ebay. Hubby used to make garden decks with tables and BBQ'S for dolls houses too.nvrules.  The mini babies are made out of clay.  re born babies are made out of doll parts you buy them make them look real then hook them all up together as a baby.

The little ones are all clay.  No molds and just hands and for me a pointed stick.  LOL  I don't really use the other tools.  I have made a bigger one out of clay.  She isn't quite together yet.  When I finish her up I should post a pic.

I think she was getting like 0!  It showed her rooting the hair, and you could see it would take a long time.  She also dressed them in super expensive clothes, which would add to the cost.  I think if you bought one, you would want to dress it yourself, in the clothes of the baby it was modeled after.

I think it was an internet business.  You could google around, see what's out there.
These are the first three re borns I did.  I call them hard body ones.  They are all vinyl (?).  The little blonde boy one (and yup they have the right "body" parts) looked so much to everyone like my little boy when he was small I kept him.
The others are made with a soft body.  That makes them bigger and they can wear size 0 or 3 month clothing.

All I can say is WOW!  You are so talented - these babies look perfect to every little detail.  You go girl.    Thank you for showing these to us.  I love to see what artists can do, it just amazes me.

Beautiful! I can't believe you make these. You are very talented.

My daughter use to collect babies like these when she was younger. I can't remember right off what they were called. She could play with them thought. They weren't just collectables. They were super expensive.....but she loved them so much and took such good care of them we were proud to get them for her for special occations like Birthday's and Christmas.

I can't for the life of me remember what they were called. I'm gonna see if I can find them on line.
Lee Middleton! That's what they were called. I've got at least 5 of these in my attic. I didn't have the heart to get rid of them when my daughter got older. One day my granddaughter might like them.

When I have a Granddaughter that is!
Those are just the best !! I have never seen any thing like those little ( real looking ) babies .
American Girl does little girls that kind of looks like the girl getting it but mostly it is just the same color hair and skin not as real as yours look .   What a talent you have !
WOW

I am in awe. these are jut amazing..
WOW!!!!  Amazing, just amazing.  Those are AMAZING!!! The one you made for the lady, off the pic!! Holy cow!!!!!

So my mind is childish, and I was just thinking you could REALLY mess with people.........make one life sized..........stick it in a buggy...........hide a tape recorder of a baby crying in the blankets...............

Oh there's so many stunts you could pull with that.......*sigh* I know I am repeating everyone so far----but WOW----AMAZING!

you have some serious talent.
