Well my hands were stiff this morning, and my feet hurt, and my knees were a bit creaky...Oh, who cares anyway? It's been raining and was rather dreary today...until this afternoon. The sun came out rather unexpectedly, a bit cool but not bad, so I grabbed the dog and headed out with a mission...find some color to brighten a somewhat somber mood. The air is so remarkably clean after a good hard rain...it smells and feels different...everything looks brighter and more alive. I feel much better now and thought I would share a few of my chance encounters. (Of course, Joey had to get in a picture too!) I didn't grow up here so it seems kind of silly to me that spring shows up in February and everything turns brown by the time summer begins...but, today I'm not complaining!
