Swelling on the bottom of the foot? | Arthritis Information

My ankles, feet and calves have been pretty swollen this week, but yesterday morning when I got up and started walking around, there was a spot on the bottom of my foot that hurt.  I asked hubby to look and he said it was swollen.  Later in the day it happened on the other foot as well.  Is this somehow related to the overall foot/ankle swelling I'm having?  Seems kinda strange.

In order to show you where I'm talking about, I'm borrowing a graphic showing some sort of foot bone problem, but the spot they show (lower left picture) is the same spot where I'm swollen.

Anyone have any idea?

I have swelling where the ball of foot is, feels like a marble, can't tell on this picture is yours more in the instep or where a bunion would be? sounds like it could be related to other swelling.

I'm realizing the graphic didn't come out very big/clearly.  It is where the finger on the left is pointing, which is just in front of the heel, as it gets to the edge of the arch.I get swelling in different parts of my feet and also feels like I'm walking on marbles .
Mostly on my right foot .
Right now I think I fractured my foot ,again, for the 3rd time .
So I just put my brace back on and see the Dr tommorow .
What a bummer !!
Sorry, have no idea.  My swelling is in my fingers and I cannot even figure that one out.  Hope it passes soon.  CathyI get swelling toward the front of my feet on the bottom and I also get swelling on the tops of my feet. Mine just feels like something is on the bottom of my foot. You know how it feels if you put a band aid on the bottom of your foot and walk around with it on, how it feels soft yet, there is something there. That is how mine feels.
