Freaky spring goodness | Arthritis Information

Even though it's only February maybe spring has come to Vancouver. Every day it's sunny and the air has that earthy smell to it. Yesterday I saw the rosehip bushes have buds, and I keep seeing patches of snow drops.

Mmmmmmmm....spring.We still have tons of snow here but it is melting slowly. I can't wait till summer.Gimpy, i woke up this morning to sunshine, and when I looked out the window  buds on the trees.  The Weeping Willows are getting that faint yellow green they always get and the days are getting longer.  It's still cold and I know we'll have more snow, but I have seen the first of Spring and I think it's my favorite time of year.  Even though Summer's my favorite season. We have had 100 inches of snow here this winter and it's not over yet, but today the sun is out and we have blue sky and there is that scent of warmth and earth in the air. I love it. People's spirits are so lifted after 3 weeks of pretty much blizzard conditions. I can feel the difference in attitudes everywhere I go. Ahhhhhhh.......Gimpy aren't the snowdrops lovely. Edinburgh has had snow drops for weeks, we've got daffodils and crocuses poking through the earth at the moment and all my potted plants have buds. Roll on the sunshine and the warm weather. We've had bitter cold weather and 60/70 mph winds, oh and lots of rain, my garden squelches when you walk on the grass. Linncn, I love the summer too but equally I just love the wet, leafy, crispy smell of autumn.
