My husband turned the big 5 0 yesterday so I bought him the Planet Earth entire collection in Blu Ray. Has anyone ever watched this? It is absolutely amazing!! Of course we only watched a small part of the first disc but the scenes are amazing and some of the animal life they show is unbelievable. It is almost therapeutic. If anyone gets a chance, watch it. That and The Blue Planet(same people) are great. I have them and show them to my Biology students throughout the year. They love it.Lori - we got hi-def right when that was released. We had no idea it was to be our first series to watch. It's unbelievable. Cathywe watched it every sunday night last year, the photography was amazing. Did you know the crew sat in one spot for 6wks with cameras in place waiting for the new polar bear cubs to emerge from their hole? Incredible stuff........Lori, what a great gift. That show gives me goose bumps sometimes. Did you ever see the one with the starfish? SweetLinncn, I have not gotten that far yet. Gonna try to watch some this week. I have no idea how many hours are on these discs. That show is so stunningly beautiful...is it a lot different on the Blu Ray? (is that what it's called?)Oh I would love love love to own those! I watch on Sunday nights too and it's amazing.
