OT - Monday morning frustrations | Arthritis Information

So I get to work this morning, and immediately put a 24-oz bottle of Coke in the freezer.  I don't like to leave things in the refrigerator over the weekend... there are Coke-addicted trolls who raid the fridge when no one else is around. Blue screens of death.......is that contageous???

Sounds like a crap day.  If it makes you feel any better, we're getting more snow tonight too.  Probably your sloppy seconds.  It's not supposed to hit hre till after ten, and then it's another 3 to 6.  So for me, the ride to work will be, what did you say??  Oh yeah.  Exciting.

Well, there is a silver lining in that dark blue cloud... I was going to do some upgrading a few months ago, but I ended up using those parts to build a kickin' system for the husband.  So now I guess I'll just have to get around to upgrading my own system... and he's buying!!!! [QUOTE=SnowOwl]Just "one of those Another protective coke drinking smoker, Jasmine Rain? I don't feel so alone now.  Cordelia2008-02-25 17:17:20 A girl has definitely gotta have some vices. Oh man do you fit in Kelly. *grin*

Any idea what started the blue screens of death? Kids? Cats? Hubby? LOL

I'm tickled that what originally set you off was the frozen coke cap. Say it with me now: "Addict!" LOL

After traipsing through the event log, it seems that the Blue Screen demon was born from the unholy union of a Microsoft update and an AVG antivirus update. What a truely miserable way to start off the week. That ones hard to top. Mine was really crappy work wise. Well my state of mind was to just roll with it. I am a bit used to an occasional bad Monday but this was worse than usual. But like I said I tryed not to let it get to me scince it was out of my hands. It was a bad wheather day and what can you do about that. I am sure someone could blame me, but how could that be my fault?I can't wait to get back to the office and start hurling things onto the frozen retention pond again... something's got to break through the ice.  We've had a few above-freezing days; you can see cracks forming in the surface ice towards the middle.  If we don't break through soon, the engineers are going to start hurling their failed projects onto/into the pond!!!!  I might actually have to buy my own pack of cigarettes this week - I have a feeling we're going to be outside alot at work.I think if you throw like a guy and it hurts then you should get the week off with bed rest. I think thats how it works. Oh and with pay of course. LOL Seems all this throwing things at the pond is good for your spirit anyway.LMAO I wann throw things tooooooo *whines* [QUOTE=milly]I think if you throw like a guy and it hurts then you should get the week off with bed rest. I learned in Project Management training that your team should always have clearly-defined goals.  Our goal is to break through that damn ice.I feel confident that you will do your best to break through the ice. It just depends how thick it is and how heavy an object you are throwing. A warm sunny day would probably help. I know that sore shoulder isn't going to slow you down. Well you'll just have to move north where we have all 4 seasons.
